Vickerstock are proud to be partnering with a global leading manufacturing company with the recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant to cover maternity leave within the team for up to 12 months.

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be providing support to the EPS Ireland Finance Manager in all aspects of finance and sales reporting.

What your new role will look like:

- Responsibility for the accounts receivable and credit control function - weekly, monthly, annually
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
- Preparing the Weekly Sales and Order Intake uploads into Comshare.
- Performing monthly sales & cost of sales reconciliation and supporting analysis.
- Maintaining Sales Rebate accruals and payments to customers.
- Preparing a full balance sheet reconciliation file on a monthly basis.
- Preparing VAT returns across several jurisdictions.
- Preparing Monthly Intrastat VIES and CSO returns.
- Preparing the weekly cashflow forecast for upload to Comshare.
- Preparing and collating slides for the monthly management pack.
- Performing debtor confirmations twice a year in compliance with the Group accounting manual.
- Reviewing creditor reconciliation supporting in resolving any major discrepancies and signing of the reconciliation once reviewed.
- Reviewing procedures/controls on stock movements and bi-annual stock counts.
- Ensuring Monthly audit trial reports are completed and submitted to the finance manager for review.
- Completing Credit Limit Applications for review by the finance manager.

What you will need to succeed:

- Experience of working within a similar role
- ATI qualification, part qualified accountant or similar would be beneficial
- Experience in the use of SAP
