Royal Marine Hotel are seeking a diligent and organized Stores Person to manage our storeroom operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accepting, storing and rotating goods in line with our HACCP policy, managing stock levels and ensuring the cleanliness of goods receiving and back of house areas. Additionally, the Store Person will assist the kitchen team as needed. Key Responsibilities: Accept and store deliveries, ensuring goods are rotated according to HACCP policy. Manage stock levels and requisitions for various items, including alcoholic beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organization of goods receiving and back of house areas. Assist kitchen team with tasks as required. Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries and discrepancies. Keep detailed records of shortages and spares of items. Update inventory management systems regularly. Ensure proper storage and handling of all goods to maintain quality and safety standards. The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of HACCP policies and procedures. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, with a good level of English. Must be professional, well presented, friendly and reliable Be able to work independently and also as part of a team Physical ability to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and moving heavy items.
