Role Description
The Biosensor team seeks an energetic and highly motivated individual to drive the development of various electrochemical biosensors. Primary focus areas include:

Sensor prognostics: investigate electrochemical techniques to assess sensor state of health and work with algorithm engineers to develop prognostics algorithms.

Sensor development: collaborate across sites to build out the technology portfolio and support transfer to high-volume manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a strong team player, and enjoy a dynamic environment working with teams across multiple sites to create a new and successful ADI portfolio.

Roles & Responsibilities

Define and develop infrastructure for sensor prognostics characterization work.

Select and apply electrochemical techniques to investigate sensor state of health (initially potentiometric, expanding to amperometric).

Collaborate with algorithm engineers on prognostics algorithm development.

Apply prognostics learning to sensor failure analysis (FA).

Support sensor development from initial development to technology transfer to high-volume manufacturing.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Test, Quality, Reliability, and other disciplines.

Contribute to establishing an IP portfolio across sensing, including design, materials, packaging, test/calibration, algorithms, and manufacturing flow.

Maintain detailed development documentation and present work to the Biosensors Team.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

BSc, MSc or PhD in Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, or related field.

Experience in biosensors, electrochemistry, medical devices, materials science.

Experience developing Ion Selective Electrodes, enzymatic sensors, dissolved gas sensors, or other electrochemical sensors.

Strong teamwork, communication, and ability to work independently and in teams.

Motivation, creativity, and an inquisitive nature to tackle multiple disciplinary challenges.

Proven track record of execution and results with high performance standards.

Desired:

3+ years in diagnostics, biomedical devices, biotechnology, or related industry.

Experience in electrochemical sensor development, sensor prognostics, and industrial technology transfer.

Experience working to ISO 13485 (medical devices).
