My client a well establish practice based in Kerry are looking for a bookkeeper based in their Tralee office.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Record and process financial transactions (accounts payable/receivable).
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and file VAT returns.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closings.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Support in the preparation of financial reports.
- Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
- Knowledge of Irish tax regulations (e.g., VAT).
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
