Find out more about our global programme .**Where could you work:**As a Water Engineering graduate, you'll enjoy variety, working on large and small projects with the opportunity to explore different career pathways, including consulting and design.Operating at the interface between people and the water environment, we work with our clients across Ireland to provide innovative design solutions, research and advisory services for a sustainable future.**Your purpose:*** Contribute to projects with a water management focus, particularly alongside one of our key services.* Field/survey work in support of projects.* Solving a wide variety of water related civil engineering challenges.* Collaborating and engaging with project stakeholders, clients, other engineering disciplines and AtkinsRéalis colleagues.* Applying on the job and external training to further develop your career.* Wider data analysis and technical report writing as part of project work, including creation and presentation of information.* Applying sustainable practices within your design responsibility to actively reduce your project’s carbon impact - contributing to the business’ Net Zero targets.* Understanding and applying industry and company design standards and guidance.* Actively considering health and safety as a core principle within your role, both on-site and in design.* Contributing to continuous quality improvements within your team and business.**What you can bring:*** Minimum Level 8 degree in one of the following Environmental Science, Environmental Economics, Environmental Engineering, Geography, GIS, Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Civil Engineering, Aquatic Ecology, Marine Sciences, Water Management.* A passion for working in a consultancy environment.* Championing a culture where everyone belongs.* A desire to work collaboratively with a curious approach, challenging yourself to find new solutions.* Enthusiasm and drive to develop your skillset and seek out development opportunities within a supportive team.* Motivation to achieve professional accreditation (where applicable).* Comfortably embrace agile ways of working and learning new technologies.* Commitment to spend a minimum of three days a week in the office or on client site (project dependent).
