Joining the Precision Animal Health (PAH) Commercial Products team, the REACT Developer will work alongside an inhouse team designing, developing, documenting, and deploying solutions for the delivery of a suite of data and analytic solutions within a customer facing web application. The individual in this role will work closely with the Frontend Lead, follow the software development lifecycle (SDLC), work collaboratively with other developers, analysts, and business professionals. The ideal candidate will have substantial proven technical ability along with excellent communication, analysis, and documentation skills. All candidates must have experience of working end-to-end in defining, and implementing frontends in React. In the process, you will work very closely with the UI designers, Technical Business Analysts and Verification teams.**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES** Percent of Time Development 85% Documentation 10% Deployment 5%ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPSDaily interactions with DDH Commercial Products team – Digital Product Owner, Designer, Lead Developers, Developers & QA (based in US, Ireland, ICC)**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Education:** o Undergraduate degree related to Business Information Systems or Computer Science, or undergraduate degree in another discipline and 3+ years relevant IT experience o Proven experience of working with colleagues in US & Europe**Desired Competencies**: o Proficient in using CI / CD tools such as Git and TFS o Experience developing on commercial cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure o Experience in the application of project management principles and software development life cycle management o Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms o Ability to translate business requirements into solutions that map to technology capabilities o Interpersonal skills necessary to collaborate with existing subject matter experts across various functions and integrate them as team members o Ability to take direction and to complete tasks with minimal direction o Ability to prioritize issues and drive progress in ambiguous situations**TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS** At least 10 years experience • HTML • CSS • Javascript • Browser APIs • Browser Dev ToolsAt least 5 years experience with • React • Redux • NodeJS • RESTful Design • Git • Unit TestingAt least 3 years experience with • Typescript • Knowledgeable of latest JS and TS language features • Fluent in functional design patterns • Fluent in Asynchronous programming patterns • Linux -- specifically WSL (windows subsystem for linux) if on a windows machine • Fluent in English (verbal, reading, and writing)Can write code that: • Performant • Efficient • Testable • Modular • Scalable • Secure • Readable • Documented • Maintainable • Standard-compliant • Cross-browser Compatible**PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS** Regular working hours are from 11:00 PM to 8: 00 PM IST or 2:00 PM to 11:00pm IST Sometimes, more overlap with the EST Time zone is required during production go-live.
