Overview Senior QA Analyst - Star Trek Fleet Command at Scopely. Location: Barcelona or Ireland, hybrid/remote basis. Scopely is looking for a Senior QA Analyst to join our Star Trek Fleet Command team within our Midcore division.
Star Trek Fleet Command's ongoing success is driven by our in-house developed 4X MMO, launched in 2018 and continuing to evolve as a top-grossing Massive Multiplayer Strategy game.
What You Will Do Play a supporting role to all internal QA resources, reviewing, assisting, and contributing to quality efforts across the team as needed
Engage and provide feedback at the brief/design stages via static testing, highlight additional test tools/cheat needs, pre-production quality concerns, or similar items
Support the creation, maintenance, and coverage of relevant test suites and associated test cases across the different teams you engage with
Review and challenge team test plans, including scope of coverage, estimate accuracy, and resourcing needs from conception through to release
Help the internal QA resource liaise and coordinate with a team of offshore testers, defining and communicating expectations while monitoring progress and results
Review and (where necessary) align and train external test teams to conform to expected bug reporting standards, while maintaining a tidy and prioritised backlog in coordination with the QA Leadership team
Run tests and report results using tools such as Datadog / Google Play / Apple Connect, particularly following a release you have supported
Align with QA leadership to standardise processes across Pods and Clusters, providing feedback and suggestions to improve where applicable
Work closely with Customer Support & Live & Release Cluster to investigate, document, and push for swift resolution of Live issues, identifying gaps and proposing solutions for future releases
Support the QA leadership team in attaining the department's goals through ownership and tracking of KPIs/OKRs

Ability to negotiate and ensure your team's message is heard, balanced with sound business understanding
Proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
Flexible to an agile setup with the ability to multitask and manage coverage for multiple high-profile releases with strict deadlines
Strong commercial awareness with understanding of business priorities and goals
Exceptional reporting capabilities
Extensive knowledge of JIRA and/or similar bug tracking systems
Bonus Points Background in automation testing
Mobile exposure and understanding of Apple/Google submission protocol
Understanding of the gaming industry and end-to-end development lifecycle
