Excellent opportunity for a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant to join a well-established public sector client on a 12-month contract. You'll be part of a fantastic team in an excellent working environment, playing a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function.

Role details:

Location: Tallaght (onsite parking available), Hybrid working: 3 days in the office / 2 days from home, Contract: 12 months, Salary: €58,000, Annual leave: 29 days

Key Responsabilities:

- Preparation of month-end management accounts using Exchequer Software

- Carrying out the month-end close, including journal postings and account reconciliations

- Reconciling monthly income between the claims system and finance system

- Oversight of solicitor portal transactions

- Processing of refund fees

- Producing month-end debtor reports

- Compiling VAT and PSWT returns

- Preparing pension deduction returns for the parent Department

- Producing monthly cash flow statements

- Completing monthly bank reconciliations

Key Requirements:

- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA)

- Immediate availability, or able to commence within 2-4 weeks

- Strong IT and communication skills

- Collaborative team player
