We provide outsourced legal solutions to a range of domestic and international clients including government bodies, global technology companies and pillar banks.
Johnson Hana is seeking a Privacy Specialist for an upcoming project with a large international tech company. This project will be 4 months in length and there is a strong potential for this project to be extended beyond this timeframe for approx. 2 years. This project is on a contract basis, and is offering full time hours.
Key Skills & Experience
Manage the privacy inbox, including triaging and responding to privacy queries in a timely manner, with the assistance of a comprehensive playbook.
Collaborate with internal teams to address data protection issues and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to data protection.
Conduct privacy impact assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating privacy risks.
Act as a subject matter expert on data protection matters, providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders as needed.
Possess demonstrated experience and understanding of privacy and data protection requirements within the U.S. jurisdiction, including familiarity with relevant federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in data protection, privacy compliance, or related fields (1-3 years experience)
Demonstrated experience and understanding of privacy and data protection requirements within the U.S. jurisdiction, including familiarity with relevant federal and state regulations.
Strong understanding of privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) is a plus.
