As a key member of our Finance team, you'll contribute to the accurate and timely delivery of capital and regulatory reporting, helping ensure Scotiabank meets its financial and compliance objectives. Your work will directly support strategic decision-making and help shape the future of our operations in Europe.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Preparing internal capital reports, including daily large exposure and monthly capital ratios.

• Assisting in the production and submission of SIDAC's monthly and quarterly regulatory capital and statistical reports.

• Performing in-depth variance analysis, report reconciliations, and control checks.

• Supporting process improvements and system enhancements using tools such as JIRA and Axiom.

• Engaging in training to deepen your knowledge of the European regulatory landscape.

• Championing operational excellence and adhering to all risk and compliance standards.

What You'll Bring:

• A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.

• Strong analytical skills and an exceptional eye for detail.

• A solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and variance analysis.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A proactive, self-starting attitude with a desire to learn and grow.

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a diverse, inclusive, and fast-paced environment.
