Project Manager

- Fortivum are now seeking a Project Manager with experience in the management and execution of Data Centre MEP projects from concept through to handover.
- The successful candidate will operate in a Client Representative capacity, contributing to high-performance project delivery of various data centre retrofit projects.
- Project Location: Greater Dublin
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of selected projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure all deliverables meet client specifications and are completed on time and within budget.
- Utilize systems to track and monitor project progress, ensuring full compliance across the project team.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, including the negotiation of contracts and agreements where required.
- Oversee financial elements of each project, including cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant legislation, codes, and standards, particularly health and safety regulations.
- Establish structures to monitor, review, and control budgeted or agreed expenditures.
- Implement cost and value control procedures and ensure accurate, timely production of all required commercial reports.
- Prepare and issue monthly progress reports for Fortivum Senior Management.
- Promote and maintain productive, collaborative partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in Engineering/Construction/Science or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience on mission-critical projects.
- Strong knowledge across all engineering disciplines.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality work and meet project deadlines within budget.
