Senior Site Engineer Civil Engineering A Senior Site Engineer is required for a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor to work on a large-scale infrastructure project in Louth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a reputable company and play a key role in delivering high-quality civil engineering works. The successful candidate will have a strong background working with main contractors in Ireland or the UK and be confident managing the technical and supervisory aspects of civil engineering sites. Duties: Oversee and coordinate all technical aspects of civil engineering works on site, including earthworks, drainage, utilities, roads, and foundations, as a Senior Site Engineer. Carry out and verify accurate setting out and surveying activities. Monitor quality control to ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant standards. Collaborate closely with subcontractors, site managers, and project teams to ensure smooth progress and timely delivery. Assist with planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring of civil works. Maintain detailed site records and prepare progress and compliance reports. Ensure health & safety regulations are strictly enforced and promoted on site. Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff. Requirements: Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 5 years experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering projects, with at least 2 years in a senior/site lead role in Ireland or the UK. Strong expertise in setting out, surveying, and civil engineering site management. Good knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to civil engineering works. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and site/project management software. Fluent English with eligibility to work in Ireland. Full driving licence. Salary: Salary circa €70,000€80,000. Excellent benefits package. Company vehicle provided.
