- Maintain and enhance Sojern’s product design system to ensure consistency across all platform elements.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity throughout the design process, ensuring our products meet the needs of a diverse audience.
- Collaborate with Engineers to ensure seamless implementation and adherence to design specifications.
- Analyze usage metrics, user feedback, and industry trends to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
- Present designs and findings to stakeholders and incorporate feedback iteratively.
- Become a vocal advocate for great design at Sojern, including assisting with occasional presentations to other teams about ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Work independently across multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

What you bring to the table:

- MUST have an online portfolio of relevant work examples.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related subject (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably focused on SaaS platforms, subscription-based products, or enterprise applications.
- Expertise in Figma and a strong understanding of its features.
- Experience designing in-app messaging workflows, product tours, and data-heavy interfaces with a focus on usability and visualization.
- Strong knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Solid understanding of SaaS metrics (e.g., churn, retention, engagement) and how design decisions impact business outcomes.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for product design.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) to bridge the gap between design and development.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
- Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical project milestones and deadlines.
- BONUS Points for fluency in more than one language, exposure to machine learning or AI-driven product design, experience designing for B2B platforms, data analytics tools, or travel-related products.
