Overview Project Engineer - Water Networks at Stantec (formerly Ryan Hanley, now part of Stantec). Based in Ireland with flexibility to be based in Dublin, Galway, Cork, or Castlebar.
Responsibilities Develop detailed designs for water network infrastructure, including pumping stations and storage facilities.
Prepare feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations.
Create specifications and tender documents for projects.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, and guide others in preparing project drawings and inputs.
Provide expert technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications A third-level degree in engineering (Level 8 minimum).
Strong postgraduate experience in water network design.
Strong professional and technical knowledge.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple tasks effectively.
Proficiency in industry-standard software.
