Together, these technologies support our critical national infrastructure, and we are recruiting a Cybersecurity Regulatory Analyst to support our transformation to a digital utility. The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) team are looking for talented, personable and ambitious candidates to fill the role of Cybersecurity Regulatory Analyst. Successful candidates will have a key role in shaping how cybersecurity is delivered to meet business goals, supporting major change imperatives and in enabling ESB's transition to a digital utility. We are seeking to attract candidates who have cybersecurity architecture and regulatory experience or those with related IT experience seeking to bring those skills to a cybersecurity role. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be required to support the Cybersecurity Regulatory Lead: Provide subject matter expertise and cybersecurity regulatory support to functional business areas across a large and diverse set of IT and OT assets. Consult and collaborate with broader IT and BU teams to improve security and mitigate risk in processes and procedures. Develop and document cybersecurity processes for audit and regulatory purposes Develop and maintain a business unit inventory to prepare for cybersecurity regulatory requirements aligned to leading frameworks and common standards Support the management of cybersecurity regulatory activities and report on regulatory gaps Monitor sources of Irish cybersecurity legislation and communicate changes as required. Develop and maintain regulatory and audit related status reports and key metrics and co-ordinate cybersecurity audit and assessments Experience and Qualifications Essential Applicants should be delivery focussed and have the following demonstrable knowledge skills and experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience, including relevant IT and/or cybersecurity experience Relevant 3rd level degree Excellent organisational, stakeholder management, negotiation, communication and analytical skills Ability to plan, execute and document activities following established processes and procedures. Outstanding reporting, analytical and documentation/writing experience including MS Office 365 applications skills (PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word) Ability to manage multiple work streams and work both independently as well as part of a team Demonstrated ability to apply technology in solving business problems Above all, applicants must be organised, innovative in their approach and able to demonstrate their ability to actively and independently contribute to a team that delivers results. Desirable Cybersecurity certification e.g. CISSP, CGEIT, CISA or similar would be an advantage but not a requirement Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and policies, regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks and standards including the NIS Directive, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001 Previous experience in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, Compliance or Regulatory affairs Previous experience working in a utility industry would be a bonus. Location This position will be based in ESB Head Office, 27 Fitzwilliam Street Lower, Dublin 2 but may from time to time require travel to business unit locations. The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least one anchor day per week.
