Role: Mortgage Manager Location: Northern Cross, Dublin 17 Mortgage Plan is an established mortgage brokerage based in Northern Cross, Malahide Road, Dublin 17. It is a division of the dynamic and fast growing Know Finance Limited which also provides financial planning advice to individuals and SME clients through its Future Plan brand. Job Description: Mortgage Manager in a busy financial brokerage processing and managing the mortgage pipeline from enquiry to cheque issue. Main Responsibilities: Assist the business by managing the mortgage application process & pipeline. Building relationships with clients and external contacts. Professionally liaise with customers & lenders, answering phone calls and emails in a very streamlined mortgage process. Packaging and submitting mortgage applications to lenders. Perform all tasks in compliance with policies, procedures and Central Bank Codes and regulations. Maintains accurate records / notes on the broker application system. Actively participate in and contributes to team meetings. The role holder will be expected to participate in company and regulatory training on an ongoing basis and remain current with retail origination industry and CBI regulatory requirements and changes. Experience & Personal Attributes: Minimum 2-3 years mortgage experience in a mortgage brokerage/mortgage lender. Strong knowledge of the mortgage application process, lender criteria and packaging requirements. Full experience of the cheque issue process. Working knowledge of mortgage application systems (credit logic, online application, etc.). Takes accountability for commitments to clients, customers and stakeholders. Strong relationship building skills. Results focused with an emphasis on attention to detail. Ensures that high service standards are consistently delivered. Highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative. Excellent communication skills written, and verbal are essential. Ability to prioritise and work independently under pressure within a team environment. Qualifications: QFA. Third level financial/mathematical or business related qualification preferable. The ability to work within tight deadlines. Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS office suite, DocuSign and online mortgage application systems. Package: Basic salary of €45-50k. Performance related incentives. Pension and income protection benefits. Education allowance. Full time office role Monday-Thursday & 9-1pm on Friday although flexibility may be on offer after the initial induction period if required.
