Role: Production Operative Salary: €32,000 €35,000 Duration: Permanent Location: Rathcoole Hours: Monday to Friday Production Operative Thriving manufacturing business in Rathcoole are seeking a Production Operative to help maintain high standards in production and quality. This hands-on role is central to daily operations and requires a qualified individual with a valid counterbalance forklift certificate and manual handling experience. You will primarily be responsible for tinting materials according to recipes, retaining samples, and keeping detailed batch records. The role also includes reworking returned materials, adhering to safety and waste management protocols. Maintaining a clean and safe workspace is essential, along with ensuring that equipment such as dispensers and mixers is kept in good working order. In addition to production duties, you will also conduct general warehouse tasks such as operating the forklift, maintaining stock levels, receiving goods, and dispatching orders. This position offers you a permanent Monday to Friday schedule in a supportive team environment, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who values structure, quality, and long-term career growth with a respected employer. Responsibilities: Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and effectively in line with company procedures. Assist with general warehouse duties when required such as picking and packing orders for dispatch. Conduct manual handling tasks in accordance with safety guidelines. Perform stock control and inventory checks accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS). Operate and maintain tinting machines. Clean and maintain machinery (dispensers, mixers, shakers). Follow waste management procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the production area. Requirements: Valid counterbalance forklift certificate and experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting Ability to follow detailed production instructions accurately. Experience operating and maintaining blending and tinting machinery. Strong attention to detail for sample retention and batch record keeping, Knowledge of safety procedures, warehouse protocols, and waste management practices.
