Overview:
- Reporting to the Digital Project Lead, responsible for DeltaV Systems.
- Work closely with digital teams and vendors/partners for DeltaV DCS delivery.
Requirements
Role Functions:
- Review and approve related design documentation.
- Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the DeltaV system.
- Participate in Agile software development sprints.
- Engage in commissioning and qualification activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite commissioning, and testing.
- Follow SDLC procedures for implementing changes, including RS updates, RTM change control, implementation, and testing.
- Ensure software is implemented safely and with quality.
- Configure and test in development systems as required.
- Educate local project teams on automation standards, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments, and business processes.
- Partner with internal digital departments to ensure standard and secure implementation aligned with standards.
Knowledge, Skills, Education & Location Requirements
Required:
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Training in DeltaV standards and batch processes; 3+ years of DeltaV application experience.
- Proven proficiency in business analysis on capital projects.
- Understanding of cGMPs, SDLC methodologies, and LEAN/MPS/Sigma principles.
- Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to analyze and define business problems, develop cases, and identify solutions.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- This is a site-based role; occasional meetings at vendor or client sites may be required.
- Experience in commissioning DeltaV systems in GMP manufacturing facilities.
