Product Regulatory Manager We are seeking a Product Regulatory Manager to lead the regulatory strategy for a leading international manufacturer of safety-critical electronic products. This is a pivotal role, ensuring products meet global standards and approvals, while driving compliance across the full product lifecycle. The Role As Product Regulatory Manager, you will: Responsibilities: Define, implement, and maintain a comprehensive global regulatory compliance strategy. Monitor and interpret emerging international standards and directives (e.g., CPR, RED, LVD, EMC, RoHS, WEEE, UKCA, UL, CE, BSI, VdS). Guide R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing teams on compliance throughout the product lifecycle. Manage all product approvals and certifications for new and existing products. Act as the primary contact for Notified Bodies, regulatory authorities, and certification agencies. Lead regulatory audits, inspections, and assessments. Maintain robust documentation and ensure compliance is embedded within the companys Quality Management System (ISO 9001 or equivalent). Support post-market surveillance, compliance monitoring, and recall processes if required. Requirements: A bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Law, or a related technical field. At least 3 years of experience in a dedicated regulatory role within manufacturing (electronics or regulated consumer goods preferred). In-depth knowledge of international product regulatory frameworks and standards (CPR, RED, LVD, EMC, RoHS, WEEE, REACH, UKCA, UL, BSI, VdS). Hands-on experience managing complex product approvals and working with Notified Bodies. Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or similar). Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex compliance requirements for a range of stakeholders. Strong organisation, attention to detail, and project management skills. A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently.
