Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Temporary Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team in Co. Laois. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
2. Monitor and assess patient conditions, and report changes to the healthcare team.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Assist in patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
6. Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.
7. Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
8. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Valid nursing license and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
2. Proven experience in a hospital setting, preferably in acute care.
3. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
