Senior Mechanical or Electrical Engineer MEP Consultancy Location: Dublin Salary: €70,000€85,000 Employment Type: Full-time Sector: Building Services / Engineering Consultancy A leading engineering consultancy with a strong pipeline of high-spec commercial, residential, and healthcare developments is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to join their Dublin office. This role offers the opportunity to take technical ownership of complex projects and contribute to strategic team development. About the Role: The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of multidisciplinary building services design, from early-stage concept through to handover. You will: Lead design and coordination of mechanical or electrical building systems Prepare detailed specifications, calculations, and reports Review and manage project deliverables to ensure quality and compliance Liaise with architects, clients, and project teams throughout all project stages Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team leadership Participate in design reviews, site inspections, and commissioning activities Candidate Profile: Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering 7+ years experience in MEP design within consultancy environments Experience working on large-scale commercial, healthcare, or mixed-use developments Strong understanding of Irish building regulations and sustainability frameworks Proficient in industry design tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, IES, Amtech) Excellent communication and leadership skills Chartered status or actively working toward chartership Whats on Offer: Salary €70,000€85,000, depending on experience Involvement in high-profile projects and technical leadership CPD support and assistance toward chartership if required Long-term career development in a well-established team Collaborative and professional working environment To apply confidentially, please submit your CV.
