Now, we’re looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our Steel & Metal team, covering the Waterford, Wexford, Wicklow, Carlow and Kilkenny regions.

As a Sales Account Manager, you’ll be the trusted partner to our customers—visiting them on-site / in offices, to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions using Hilti’s innovative tools, software (like ONTrack, Fieldwire, VanGateway), and services.
You’ll manage your own territory with autonomy, building long-term relationships and helping customers work more efficiently and safely. Whether you’re consulting on a construction site or collaborating with a managing director, your focus will be on problem-solving, relationship-building, and delivering value.
The role is all about nurturing and fostering relationships, developing contacts on site with customers and helping them find the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions for their needs. You’ll be part of a supportive, field-based regional team who are only a phone call away.
We don’t expect you to be a construction expert. For us, it’s about the right person; the right person is passionate, curious, dedicated and collaborative – our training will cover the rest
What does the role involve?
At Hilti, we work a little differently, this is not a typical account management role. We have a direct sales model which allows us to ensure a high-level customer interaction at every encounter. We love our customers The Account Management role is strategic account development focused, partnering with existing customers providing solutions to optimise their current product basket.

What you need is:
 Requirements:
- Sales or customer-facing experience (any industry)
- Full, clean manual driving license
- Full working rights in Ireland
- Customer-facing/sales experience , gained in any industry.
- Curiosity - listening to hear with customers to provide aligned solutions.
- Drive - a motivated approach to achieving success & overcoming challenges.
- Resilience and adaptability - you are comfortable to walk onto construction sites, roll your sleeves up & meet all levels of customer from managing director to site operator.
- Collaborative approach - you work great as part of a team to uncover creative solutions.
- More curiosity - you love to learn, develop and grow.
- Ambition - whether that’s to excel in your current role or develop into bigger responsibilities.
- A full, clean, manual driving license .
- Full working rights in Ireland

Your new role will be rewarding and challenging, and you will be given the support of your leader, your peers and Hilti to ensure you succeed. Within your first 3 months you will have 4 weeks (non-consecutive) training from our state-of-the-art hub in Manchester. This will include training on the Hilti approach, process and product training. The training doesn’t stop there We have huge amounts of training available to continually grow and develop (including modules created in partnership with Ivy League Universities).

- 25 days holidays (not including bank holidays), a day off on the month of your birthday
- 1 / 2 Day Fridays on Bank Holiday Weekends
