Retail Supermarket Duty Manager Job North County Dublin

Here at Teamworx we are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly successful supermarket group.

In this job as a Retail Duty Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop and refine these retail skills through on-the-job training, mentorship, and hands-on experience with an experienced supermarket team. The group's stores are very modern and spacious, offering free parking and a huge fresh food offering with an in-store bakery and butchers.

This is a great opportunity to get exposure in a top-performing supermarket group where you can progress between different stores and into different roles within the business. Our client will offer a salary of up to €35,000 for the Duty Manager job.

The ideal candidate for this Retail Duty Manager job:

- An ambitious Supervisor or Duty Manager who has worked in retail, such as Grocery supermarkets or convenience stores, has knowledge of HACCP, customer service, and wants to enhance their retail experience in a bigger store
- Good organizational skills
- Be able to work within a team and on your own initiative
- Flexible rota for managers; mornings, evenings, and weekends

Responsibilities for this Retail Duty Manager Job:

- Shop minding, ensure the store runs smoothly, maintain standards, and manage the store in morning or closing shifts
- As a Trainee Manager, be assigned specific departments, learn and manage performance of these departments, drive sales, control stock levels, manage promotional changeovers, and ensure profit margins meet targets
- People management, develop and coach teams, performance management, conflict resolution, motivating colleagues, rota planning
- KPI and target management, enhance commercial acumen, control costs, and drive productivity
- Customer service, enhance customer experience, resolve complaints, and train teams to gain further knowledge in the industry
