An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic Temporary Goods Inwards Manager in Morris’s Builders Providers & DIY.

You will manage the day-to-day duties of stock movements in and out of our business through the supply chain. This involves the responsibility of all related operations including stock movement, reporting, safety and information analysis.

Job Specification: Goods Movements Manager

- Manage the store team to achieve the standards of excellence expected by the company.
- Manage the stock entering and leaving our business via our supply chain.
- Manage the warehousing and movement of the products.
- Primary responsibility for:
- Staff management
- Management of drivers delivering to our company.
- Accurate detail checking of products that arrive including barcode checks
- Correct recording of these entries and compiling the daily paperwork.
- Manage stock going back to our suppliers and the associated correct paperwork.
- Maintain high safety standards and excellent housekeeping management
- Policy management
- Stock management

Duties:

- Manage the core P.O.S system relating to this part of the process.
- Use and develop daily and weekly reports, (expected delivery, returns, short delivery reports)
- Identify and eliminate time wasting tasks by either automation or education.
- Schedule and suppling weekly/monthly reports required by the company in a consistent manner.
- Asist in sales floor holiday and day off cover.
- Manage the team to maintain each area under your primary responsibility.
- Constant communication with colleagues on planning and efficiency.
- Assist with stock takes as required throughout the year.
- Carry out other ad hoc duties as required from management.
- Be proactive and willing to suggest improvements while showing initiative.
- Be efficient and meet deadlines.
- Part-take, assist, carry out and facilitate training programs that will equip our team to carry out their role to meeting the standards required from the company.

Experience

- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communicator with the ability to articulate messages clearly, listens to others, and engage people in the message being communicated

People Management And Motivational Skills Are Essential

- Highly motivated and computer literate
- Excellent Organisation, Leadership and Commercial awareness
- Must be efficient with a good track record in meeting deadlines
- Person must be proactive and willing to suggest improvements while showing initiative

Must be available to work Sunday to Saturday inclusive.
