Digital Solution Area Specialist

- You will proactively engage with customers to introduce how other workloads could enable digital transformation aligned with the customer's industry, turning opportunities into deals by leveraging your deep understanding of their business and priorities. This includes driving conversations on digital transformation across multiple solution areas in collaboration with partners and services.
- You will collaborate with the One Commercial Partner (OCP) and a network of partners to cross-sell, up-sell, and co-sell, as well as support onboarding new partners by researching and discussing customer scenarios.
- You will analyze the competitive landscape within supported solution areas, working with Global Black Belt (GBB) partners to assess competitor products, solutions, and services, and to develop strategies to position Microsoft effectively against competitors in customer communications.
- You will influence internal and external stakeholders during business planning and rhythm-of-business (ROB) meetings to review and strategize for accounts in your assigned territory.
- You will collaborate with extended sales teams, partners, and marketing to conduct business analyses (e.g., whitespace analysis, industry trend identification) to pursue high-potential customers and develop a targeted list of potential business opportunities.
- You will manage the end-to-end business of your territory, including forecasting, developing a portfolio, and creating a territory plan to drive strategic, intentional selling.
- You will apply the orchestration model to proactively drive deal closure by identifying and aligning internal stakeholders and leveraging relationships with partners.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications (RQs)
- Technology-related sales or account management experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field AND technology-related sales or account management experience
- OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
- Solution sales or consulting services sales experience
