EHS Engineer - Ireland, Dun Laoghaire - 12 Month Contract
Our client is one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical organisations. With continued organisational growth including ongoing investment across the portfolio and capital projects programme at their manufacturing facility near Dun Laoghaire, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an EHS Engineer to join the team.
What you'll do
- Completion and review of relevant EHS documentation as part of the project.
- Provide technical EHS expertise and support to the project team.
- Attend the necessary project and site EHS meetings.
- Complete regular compliance walkthroughs
- Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders as required
- Complete relevant risk assessments as per site procedures inclusive of Equipment, Task and Chemical.
- Perform job safety compliance inspections including risk and hazard analysis, safe work and operating procedures, written reports and recommendations.
What you'll need
- 3rd level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety Required.
- Qualification in Environmental Management desirable.
- Qualification in Explosion Management desirable
- A thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation within Ireland/Europe. In particular Construction regulations.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation for a pharmaceutical facility operating within Ireland/Europe.
- Knowledge of Construction regulations desirable
- Reliable experience of working in a safety role preferably within construction with the focus on working for the client.
