Wallace Myers International is partnering with a leading consultancy to recruit an Electrical Engineer for a permanent role based in Waterford. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with a high-profile client on major projects, playing a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable building services solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the electrical design of complex commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide expertise in LV systems, lighting, ICT, power distribution, fire alarms, and integrated building systems.
- Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE guidelines, and international standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
- Prepare reports, drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.

Requirements

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy setting.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards CEng preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, Amtech).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven client-facing experience.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
