We're seeking a Sr. SDET for our team, which is responsible for ensuring that our iOS, Android, Web, and Consumer Electronics users have the very best music experience. You'll have a huge impact on the quality of our client's growing suite of products and services by acting as a champion of quality engineering. You will be involved in all testing activities throughout the SDLC. You will leverage your knowledge and experience in testing to influence better software design, promote best practices, introduce bug prevention strategies, testability, and other advanced quality concepts across products.

What you'll do:

1. Analyze business requirements, design documentation, and technical specifications to decide on the most effective scripting/test strategy to exercise the functionality or performance of the product.
2. Effectively collaborate with Quality Engineering members, engineers, and PM's across teams on large projects/missions.
3. Elicit and guide team members to support large scripting efforts.
4. Solve complex automation challenges, predicting challenging issues in projects before they occur and escalating to the appropriate parties.
5. Set and review script quality standards and practices.
6. Demonstrate exceptional ability to isolate and troubleshoot technical issues across the full technology stack by leveraging software testing methodologies.
7. Perform automated test demos and walk through the test scripts with other team members.
8. Attend design and product update meetings representing the Quality Engineering team.
9. Contribute both to the definition and the enforcement of quality engineering processes and procedures based on best practice methodology.
10. Contribute status tracking and management level reporting on projects.
11. Proactively learn the backend infrastructure, services, APIs, and new testing and technology trends that will impact testing of upcoming releases.
12. Generate comprehensive test plans, execute and automate them for client applications.
13. Collect and report quality metrics from test executions.

What you'll need:

1. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
2. 5-7 years Quality Engineering test automation experience.
3. 5 years of core Java.
4. Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
5. Expert knowledge of digital streaming devices and industry trends.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to lead multiple projects, acting as point of contact for the team.
8. Detail-oriented and well-organized.
9. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
10. Commitment to both internal and external client quality and customer advocacy.
11. Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
12. Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in agile development environments.
13. Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites.
14. Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment, multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.

Technical Skills:

1. Strong coding skills with Java.
2. Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools, such as GitHub actions, to create and maintain automation and manual testing infrastructure.
3. Experience with SDLC and tooling, such as GIT, branching/merging, build systems, and continuous integration.
4. Testing enterprise applications deployed to cloud environments such as AWS and GCP.
5. Experience testing front-end applications.
6. Strong comprehension of Automated Testing Implementation and Strategies.
