Employment Tax and Global Mobility Services Director | Top 10 Firm | Dublin Our client is a leading international audit, tax, advisory, and consulting firm. With over 30 Partners and 600+ staff based in Dublin, Galway, and Limerick, their Irish firm leverages expertise, scale, and cultural understanding to assist major international groups, SMEs, private investors, and public bodies at every stage of their development. Our client is seeking to hire a Tax Director to join their Employment Tax and Global Mobility Services (ET & GMS) team within their Tax Advisory Services division. The ET & GMS team advises both domestic and international businesses in relation to a variety of issues, including all aspects of employment taxes and global mobility. What's On Offer — - Competitive salary - Opportunity to work with a varied client portfolio - Excellent opportunities to develop and manage your own portfolio - Chance to be part of a dedicated team focused on employment taxes and global mobility - Chance to demonstrate your technical expertise in employment taxes by providing support to domestic and international clients - Ability to develop close client relationships and take an active role in business development - Opportunities for people management skills development - Collaboration with the client's international community and learning from an extensive range of experts Main Responsibilities — As a Tax Director, you will be responsible for: - Advising clients on all aspects of employment taxes, including tax-free employee incentives, BIK, share-based remuneration plans, termination/redundancy payments, PAYE health checks, and Revenue audit support - Advising clients on all aspects of global mobility, including inbound and outbound cross-border employment arrangements, supporting clients with "remote worker" situations, ensuring clients remain fully compliant with tax, social security, payroll, and other in-country requirements - Reviewing expatriate tax returns and managing compliance engagements About you — - AITI/CTA qualified or equivalent - Strong academic background - At least 7 years of taxation experience in the areas of employment tax and global mobility - Managerial experience or experience managing projects and deadlines - Experience reviewing personal tax returns for internationally mobile employees and associated applications (e.g. SARP forms, A1 and Certs of Coverage applications, etc.) - Experience in managing PAYE Revenue audits and compliance checks - Worked in a tax team with client-facing experience - Organized, self-starter, and enthusiastic team player - Able to work efficiently to deadlines and encourage others to do the same - Driven, ambitious, and passionate about continuous personal and professional development - Knowledge of Irish tax law related to employment taxes and global mobility Sound like something that's of interest?
