Project Manager (Construction - Non‑IT)
Location: Donabate, Dublin (office/home based with weekly travel and occasional nights away)

Salary: €60,000 per annum + Company Car

Responsibilities

Take direct responsibility where appropriate for large and complex projects as defined in the project structure.

Concurrently with Commercial Staff, coordinate and implement Design Freeze, manage variations, and ensure the Design Freeze process is applied to all projects undertaken.

Ensure that suitably detailed Gantt charts or other appropriate project plans are in place for all projects within the region and are updated regularly.

Liaise with the Senior Project Manager to forecast current and future workload.

Liaise with Health and Safety leads and Safety Champions to enhance safe management of contractors and sites.

Ensure that appropriate Project Risk Registers are in place and maintained throughout project delivery.

Secure the necessary resources, including labour allocation, materials, and subcontractor requirements, to achieve the agreed handover date whilst working within budgeted costs.

Review and analyse all active projects for progress against programme and planned versus actual costs.

Ensure that Project Close‑Out meetings are held for all appropriate projects, documenting learnings, reviewing costs, and undertaking any further investigations as required.

Maintain all correspondence, documentation and information relating to project delivery in accordance with Portakabin Project Delivery and Document Control standards.

Possess a full Irish driving licence.

Health and Safety

Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines, and company procedures relating to Health and Safety on all projects.

Ensure method statements, risk assessments, drawings, delivery schedules, and where appropriate, Lift Plan and RAMS for all cranage works, are in place for all projects delivered.

Essential Criteria

Proven project‑management experience.

Project Management qualification, preferably PMQ.

Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams on complex/high‑value building projects.

Ability to work productively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

Demonstrable knowledge and experience of financial control in delivering projects, including negotiation of terms and final accounts.

Strong all‑round technical knowledge, including Building Regulations, HTMs, and HBNs.

Ability to make rational judgements from available information and analysis.

Full Irish driving licence.
