Skills and attributes
- Full driving licence
- Have a relevant professional qualification in an Allied Health or Nursing Professional Grade
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience with minimum of three years of the experience
- Current registration with NMBI, CORU or other professional body
- Proven management or leadership experience in healthcare or disability services
Description
Avista is a progressive organization, providing a wide range of services including Day, Residential and Respite supports to both Children and Adults in various locations nationally.
The Children and Young People’s Services within Avista provide interdisciplinary team supports and respite services to 0-18 year old Children and Young People with complex disability needs and their families.
This post is being recruited for our Children’s Disability Network Team in Limerick
Job Details
Applications are invited for the position of Children Disability Network Manager (CDNM) in East Limerick Children’s Services, Limerick.
- Have a relevant professional qualification in an Allied Health or Nursing Professional Grade
- Current registration with NMBI, CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council) or other professional body
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience with minimum of three years of the experience in paediatric/children’s disability services
- Proven management or leadership experience in healthcare or disability services
- Strong knowledge of children’s disability services and multidisciplinary team working
- Full Drivers Licence
- Be self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative
Applicants should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to successfully manage deadlines and teams.
- Postgraduate qualification in management, leadership, or specialized paediatric field
- Experience working within Children’s Disability Network Teams or similar integrated service models
- Knowledge of Policies and Procedures related to children’s disability services
- Experience in quality improvement initiatives and clinical pathway development
Applicants should possess Level 3 Behavioural Competencies of Avista competency framework
