What You’ll Do as an Global Learning & Development Products Lead
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Strategic Learning Leadership: Lead the global learning strategy to support Primark’s 2030 priorities, embed Values & Behaviours, and meet ABF compliance requirements—driving enterprise-wide capability, performance, and cultural transformation.
- Learning Product & Platform Ownership: Oversee the development and delivery of impactful learning products across digital and core formats, while managing the learning infrastructure to ensure accessibility, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
- Governance, Compliance & Measurement: Ensure delivery of mandatory learning (e.g., safety, legal, compliance), establish clear KPIs and ROI metrics, and provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders to demonstrate impact and progress.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement: Partner with senior leaders globally to shape learning priorities, advise on local challenges, and enable behavioural and cultural change through tailored learning experiences.
- Cross-Functional & Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with GBS, Technology, and P&C Operations to deliver seamless global services, while managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Team Leadership & Innovation: Lead and grow a high-performing team of learning professionals, foster a culture of development and innovation, and stay ahead of industry trends to keep Primark’s learning agenda future-ready.
What You’ll Bring

- Deep Expertise in Learning Design: 10+ years’ experience in instructional design and developing global learning solutions, with a strong grasp of corporate learning principles and best practices.
- Technological Fluency: Proven experience with current and emerging learning technologies, including digital platforms and tools that enable scalable, impactful learning experiences.
- Global & Cultural Agility: Demonstrated success working across global teams, with sensitivity to cultural nuances and in-country regulations that influence learning delivery and design.
- Strategic Thinking & Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, measure impact, and make informed decisions that align with business strategy and learning ROI.
- Leadership & Team Development: Significant experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing learning teams, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and accountability.
- Influential Partner & Change Leader: Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complexity, drive strategic initiatives, and champion people development in a dynamic environment.
