Health and Safety Consultant – Leinster or Munster Region

Ayrton Group is seeking experienced Health and Safety Consultants to join our Consultancy Department. These roles involve a hybrid of remote working and travelling to various client locations across either the Leinster or Munster regions.

These are initial 12-month contract roles, with the potential for permanency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Working with multiple clients on various scopes of work across a range of industries in the Leinster or Munster areas.
- Preparing documentation in line with client requirements and expectations.
- Reviewing existing documentation and preparing reports of findings.
- Conducting site inspections and health and safety audits.
- Developing and auditing Safety Management Systems.
- Acting as Health and Safety Coordinator for PSCS and PSDP roles.
- Advising clients on their legislative roles and responsibilities.
- Liaising with Department Management and clients, providing progress reports and updates.

Key Requirements:

- A recognised third-level qualification or diploma in health & safety.
- At least 2 years of health and safety experience.
- A good understanding of legislation and the ability to advise clients on their legal requirements.
- Experience in report writing and developing health and safety documentation.
- Experience in the construction industry is preferable.
- Experience with environmental aspects of health and safety is preferable.
- Knowledge of safety management systems is preferable.
- Ability to multitask and be flexible across a range of projects and industries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong literacy and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and document control.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification are required.
- A full Irish driver’s license is required.
