Why you'll enjoy this new opportunity Our Assurance Data Analytics team specialises in helping clients with a broad range of assurance activities, by effectively leveraging their data assets. We tap into out deep expertise with various tools, technologies and techniques to create solutions and deliver insights, in a fast-paced environment. We are now looking to further grow our team by hiring a Manager / Senior Manager focused on Machine Learning & AI. What type of work will I be doing? The successful candidate will have responsibility for delivery across a range of Assurance analytics offerings: Providing data-led assurance services to deliver meaningful insights to our clients and help them understand the risks and key drivers for their business Leading the effort to build and launch new assurance offerings Development and delivery of new and innovative data science, machine learning and AI tools and solutions to support evolving assurance needs of our clients Lead project teams to deliver engagements across all areas of large data handling, manipulation, analysis, and modelling Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution To qualify for this opportunity, you must have the following skills: Essential: Strong problem-solving skills, and capable of generating original solutions to real-world problems Strong communication and data presentation skills with the ability to build convincing recommendations and sell these to a non-technical audience End-to-end experience of managing multiple data science and analytics projects in different industries and with different types of data (text, numerical, categorical) Deep knowledge in a range of machine learning techniques (Supervised and unsupervised) Experience in using Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn), Azure, Databricks, SQL, Power BI and Git Experience developing GenAI solutions with Large Language Models, Generative AI frameworks, prompt engineering, fine tuning and resource augmentation Exposure to applying Responsible AI principles to building LLM solutions and demonstrate a passion for AI safety Solid understanding of mathematics, probability, and statistics Self-driven, able to work independently yet acts as a team player Able to apply data science principles through a business lens Experience of coaching junior data scientists/analysts Experience in reviewing code and documentation to a high standard Desirable (ideally, you'll have experience of one or more of the below areas) : Familiar with, preferably experience in, Deep Learning (e.g. RNNs, CNNs) or NLP techniques (e.g. TF-IDF, word-embedding) Exposure to topics like RLHF, adversarial training, robustness, LLM evaluations Experience of exercising software engineering best practices. E.g. test-driven development, smart data structure and algorithm selection Experience using Docker and Kubernetes Experience working in an Agile development team Experience delivery data science for financial industry or large/complex organisations If you believe that you meet most of the criteria above, we encourage you to apply.
