Role Overview We are looking for a passionate and experiencedSous Chef to join our busy kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role in a high-volume, fast-paced venue. The role offers€20 €23 per hour, depending on experience, with a structured4-day work week, ensuring balance between work and personal life. Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and overseeing daily operations Manage a section during service, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency Support in menu development, prep planning, and seasonal specials Train, mentor, and supervise junior chefs, fostering teamwork and efficiency Maintain strict standards of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene Oversee stock control, ordering, and waste management to ensure cost efficiency Stay calm and lead effectively during busy service periods Qualifications Minimum3 years experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations A positive, driven attitude with a genuine passion for food Flexibility to work evenings and weekends Previous experience working in Ireland essential Fluent English and references required What We Offer €20€23 hourly rate, depending on experience A structured4-day work week Opportunities for growth and progression within theChawke Pub Group Staff meals and group-wide employee discounts A supportive, professional work environment The chance to contribute to one of Dublins most iconic pubs Application Process If youre an ambitious and talented chef ready to take the next step in your career, wed love to hear from you.
