We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a successful Irish business headquartered in Cork to identify a Financial Business Partner to join their team. The business has celebrated significant growth over recent years and is well positioned for further expansion.
This is a hugely varied role with a strong commercial focus, where the person will have regular interaction with C-Suite executives. This role will suit someone who is passionate about partnering with business stakeholders, is a forward thinker and has a natural skill in translating Finance data into meaningful insights for the business.
The role reports to a top-class Group Financial Controller who promotes an excellent culture on the team. There is a real opportunity to use your expertise to help drive the commercial objectives of the business forward.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Take on a lead role in the forecasting and budgeting setting process
2. Act as a key Finance Business Partner to the business stakeholders
3. Identify and investigate variances to budget & forecast, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the business and cross functional teams at all levels
5. Deep dive into financial data and become a subject matter expert with the ability to provide additional insights to the business
6. Become a central point of contact between Finance and the wider business
7. Participate in group wide projects as required
ABOUT THE PERSON
Qualifications:
1. Professional Accountancy qualification with 5+ years PQE
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
3. Proven ability to influence at all levels in the organization
4. Strong commercial acumen
5. Organized and efficient with ability to prioritize workload and follow through on tasks
6. Positive 'can do' attitude
