Midlands – Co Laois, commutable from Offaly, Kildare, North Tipperary and surrounds.

CPL are working with our client partner to hire a Supply Chain Specialist for their GMP certified chemical production facility in Laois. The plant has been purpose built to support their client portfolio who are primarily in the Bio- Pharma, General Pharma and API manufacturing industries. Due to increased business, they require a Supply Chain Specialist with ERP , Order processing and Order management experience. Knowledge of import and export regulations is advantageous

This is initially a 12 month temporary role.

Role

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests, this includes always maintaining clear and professional communication with customers, as well as fielding customer complaints.

• Act as a customer advocate during on-site operations, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.

• Collaborates with supply chain and planning teams to provide customer with accurate information and updated lead times.

• Resolution of Order Conflicts: Skillfully resolve any order conflicts to ensure a positive customer experience.

• Collaborate with the sales team to meet customer demands and support the achievement of sales goals.

• Play a critical role in coordinating direct deliveries and ensuring a streamlined supply chain operation.

• Maintain understanding of import and export requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

• Assist in the coordination of logistics activities to ensure efficient product distribution.

• Enters and maintains all customer orders and documentation in business systems.

• Maintain customer details such as requirements, notes, approved and supplementary items.

• Administration duties include tracking shipments, pods, creation, and storage of regulatory documentation.

• KPI management, Customer & Vendor reporting, Forecast Vs Actuals, On time deliveries.

Requirements

• 2 – 3 years relevant professional experience

• BA or BSc desirable

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-related computer applications required.

• Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Familiarity with supply chain and logistics concepts is a plus.

• Knowledge of import and export regulations is advantageous.
