About the Role:

The Production Planner will be responsible for all activities related to production planning, demand management, and capacity optimization within the Newbridge site. This role requires strong collaboration with the Production Scheduling Team and other stakeholders to ensure a balanced supply plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review alerts and identify proposed changes
  • Prioritize orders and work with the scheduling team
  • Attend material supply meetings and share urgent issues
  • Participate in cross-site calls to flag demand signal issues
  • Handover orders to the scheduling team ensuring network material availability
  • Conduct weekly 'handshake' meetings with Production Schedulers
  • Support monthly demand changes analysis and evaluate impacts
  • Liaise with upstream/downstream sites to validate demand changes
  • Work with network stakeholders to resolve demand signal issues
  • Manage resource capacity and ensure a feasible plan
  • Collaborate with Production Scheduling Team to resolve asset balancing trade-offs
  • Track root causes and prioritize remediation and prevention actions
  • Review/update system supply chain Master Data and monitor Key Planning Metrics
  • Ensure inventory usage of network materials and avoid obsolescence
  • Monitor network material shelf life and adhere to RIDS avoidance processes
