Overview Our client is seeking a Head of Personal Lines Operations to lead, optimise, and scale their Personal Lines division. This senior leadership role combines strategic oversight with operational excellence, focusing on performance delivery, process efficiency, and customer experience across all Personal Lines functions. The successful candidate will shape and execute operational strategy, manage a high-performing team, and ensure best-in-class service and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the Personal Lines Operations team, ensuring excellence in service delivery, compliance, and performance. Oversee all operational aspects of the Personal Lines portfolio, including motor, home, travel, and other consumer insurance products. Design and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency, service quality, and profitability. Drive the transformation of processes and systems to support a blended model of digital and human service delivery. Monitor key performance metrics and ensure effective reporting to senior management. Maintain strong relationships with insurers and key stakeholders, negotiating terms that align with business goals and client needs. Ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support growth, innovation, and continuous improvement across the business. Oversee teams located both within and outside Ireland, ensuring consistent service standards and performance delivery. Skills and Experience Proven experience in Personal Lines operations within an insurance brokerage or insurer. CIP or APA qualified in General Insurance, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a MCC Controlled Function Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior management or operational leadership position. Strong background in process optimisation, systems improvement, and operational transformation. Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills. Commercially minded with the ability to balance strategic priorities and day-to-day operational needs. Strong understanding of the Irish insurance market and regulatory landscape. Data-driven approach to decision-making and performance management.
