Principal Social Worker – Temporary Full-Time (12 months) Children’s Services, Dublin
Salary: €80,299 - €98,506. Salary subject to relevant public sector experience and pro-rated for hours of work.
Essential A NQSW or equivalent professional social worker qualification
5 years post-qualification social work experience with depth and breadth in services for children and young people with a disability
Registered with the Social Workers Professional Register (CORU) and active CPD Portfolio
Permit to work in the Republic of Ireland
Full clean driving licence and use of a car
A demonstrated ability to ensure high standards in the delivery of a quality social work service for people with a disability
Good knowledge and ability in management, organising and planning
Ability to provide leadership, supervision, and a high standard of professional ability
Initiative and innovation in identifying areas for service development and improvement
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues, supported individuals and families
Ability to motivate and support teams to optimise service delivery and promote change management initiatives
Certificate of completion for the Children First e-learning module and safeguarding experience
Desirable Level 3 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework
