Job Title : Sales Specialist (Surgical Devices)
Field-based sales role
Reports to : National Sales Manager – Surgical Division
Company: The Brennan & Co Group
The Brennan & Co Group , founded in Dublin in 1967, incorporates four companies – Brennan & Co , Brennan & Co NI , Brennan & Co SVS and Irish Power and Process Ltd . The Group is a market leader in the supply and servicing of equipment, reagents and consumables along with supply chain management to the Life Sciences, Healthcare, Industrial and Pharmacy sectors in Ireland, Europe and Asia.
In 2022, Brennan & Co proudly acquired Operating Room Systems Ltd, a leader in Ireland’s surgical devices sector since 2009. Their success stemmed from strong partnerships with global surgical innovators and a commitment to delivering cutting‑edge products.
This acquisition bolsters Brennan & Co’s Healthcare division, embedding the dynamic ethos that has driven Operating Room Systems from the start. We’re now expanding our surgical team, empowering members with the tools and support needed to drive growth and seize exciting commercial opportunities.
We seek candidates with proven commercial skills, ready to identify sales opportunities and deliver results. This role offers a rare chance to excel in surgical sales and account management, working closely with supply partners and building relationships with clinical professionals in the operating theatre.
With a portfolio of class‑leading products and an exciting pipeline, this is the perfect time to join us and shape the future of surgical excellence in Ireland.
So, who are we looking for to fill this role?
Can you build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with our customers?
Do you have experience in surgical device sales, and are you confident working with surgeons in a clinical environment?
Can you demonstrate a proven ability to drive year‑on‑year revenue growth in a surgical sales model while maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering clinical support?
Do you possess the communication skills to provide engaging clinical education and deliver exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals, a cornerstone of success in this role?
Thinking of applying but not sure? Do you have what it takes to excel in this opportunity?
This role is ideal for candidates with existing experience and a proven track record in the surgical sector, offering a unique chance to support an established portfolio in a team defined by its dynamic culture and strong work ethic.
For those outside the surgical marketplace, this could be a career‑defining moment. We are open to exceptional candidates motivated for the opportunity of a lifetime. While this is a challenging and substantial role that will require dedication and effort to master, it’s also a rare chance to break into a highly specialised field.
If you’re driven, tenacious, and professional—ready to bring something extraordinary to the role we encourage you to take on this challenge and prove your potential. With the right mindset and determination, this could be the step that transforms your career.
