Excellent opportunity for a Nurse (RGN) who wants to make the move into a Clinical Specialist position. My client has recently partnered with another third-party provider of Cardiology Diagnostic Solutions for the HSE. They need Irish Registered Nurses to come on-board and provide Cardiology Assessments on Patients who have been referred by GPs and Consultants. You will be based in a Primary Care Centre in Arklow Co. Wicklow APPLY TODAY Nurse / Qualified Registered Nurse / An Bord Altranais / NMBI / Clinical Specialists / Echocardiogram / Cardiology / Ireland This role is open to Irish, UK and EU Citizens who can work in Ireland without any Visa restrictions. You do not need to have detailed experience in Cardiology as full training is supplied, but you must be a Qualified Registered Nurse in Ireland (An Bord Altranais / NMBI). Job Title: Clinical Nursing Specialist (Cardiology) x2 Location: Arklow Co. Wicklow (Primary Care Centre) Package: Mon Fri (9-5) Full Time Permanent €45k - €50k Basic (Dependent on experience and open to negotiation) 10% Annual Bonus Profit Share (€2,000 - €3,000) Health Insurance Pension (5%) Paid Annual Leave (26 Days Plus Public Holidays) Income Protection Social Club Mobile Phone / Laptop Role: Your primary responsibility will be to perform focused echocardiograms for patients who have been referred by GPs or Integrated Care Hub Cardiologists in designated centres. In this role, you will be required to communicate effectively with patients. The delivery of the service is facilitated by the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven guidance software for conducting focused cardiac ultrasounds, ensuring consistency and accuracy in imaging. You will be responsible for prioritising urgent referrals ensuring that all scans are completed within the prescribed timeframes. Duties: Deliver the Focused Echocardiogram Service, primarily within the Southeast Health Region Utilise advanced, AI-driven guidance software to ensure consistency and accuracy in imaging Prioritise urgent referrals and ensure all scans are completed within prescribed timelines Clearly explain procedures to patients, addressing any questions and ensuring their comfort throughout the process Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support integrated patient care Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by seeking efficient and innovative ways to enhance service delivery Adhere to established clinical protocols, best practices, and regulatory standards Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field to uphold the overall quality of the service Demonstrate proactivity, attention to detail, and self-motivation with excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills Build effective relationships at all levels through strong interpersonal skills Experience: Must be a registered Nurse in Ireland (An Bord Altranais / NMBI) Experience in Cardiology area preferable but not essential Personal Characteristics: Communication & influencing skills at an advanced level Ability to create a positive impact and convey confidence and credibility to others in a Clinical Environment Driven by a desire to succeed and a work ethos to match The Motivation to overcome setbacks and rise a challenge If you would like to be considered for this opportunity follow the links below and send me your CV.
