Student Coordinator

Our client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire a student Coordinator on a temporary contract until the 1^st December for 28 hours per week, with availability to work Saturdays.

The Youth Academy is an outreach programme for primary and secondary school students at University of Galway. The Outreach Coordinator will assist with day to day operations, liaise with parents and other stakeholders, manage and organise equipment/materials and support the smooth running of courses on Saturday mornings.

The Youth Academy runs as an out-of-school-hours programme so Saturday work is required during term time.

Skills Required:

· Excellent administrative and organisation skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Track record of attention to detail and problem solving skills.

· Ability to work to strict deadlines.

· Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and also independently.

· Excellent IT skills including Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel)

Responsibilities:

•Handling correspondence with parents and issuing of instructions and directions and dealing with feedback, special requests and complaints.

•Secure and maintain adequate equipment, classroom tools and materials as required by the instructors

•Support operations on the day of classes and ‘firefight’ any issues that may arise
