Our dedicated team possesses the technical expertise to assess risks, engage with economic operators, and enforce compliance measures swiftly and effectively. Together, we strive to create a regulatory environment that supports investment, innovation, and consumer protection in the communications sector.
Reporting to the Product Safety Manager, the Product Safety Analyst will have a crucial role encompassing various responsibilities:
1. Investigating and overseeing multiple product compliance cases, ensuring identification and resolution of breaches, including enforcement actions.
2. Conducting Market Surveillance activities on eCommerce platforms to evaluate compliance with the RED and EMC Regulations.
3. Performing Authorised Officer market surveillance on imported/sold products to assess compliance with regulations.
4. Managing the entry of relevant products into the State by liaising with State authorities like Revenue Customs.
5. Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders (national and international Market Surveillance Authorities, EU Commission).
6. Establishing risk-based processes for consistent market surveillance and compliance.
7. Evaluating radio and electrical products against standards as per RED and EMC Regulations.
8. Overseeing EC notification systems for information exchange on non-compliance.
9. Representing the company at national/international forums and contributing to EU-wide surveillance campaigns.
10. Supervising external consultants and resources for project delivery.
This dynamic role involves national and international travel, requiring flexibility in working hours.
Essential requirements :
1. A third-level qualification in technology, engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
2. Proven project delivery expertise in diverse environments, showcasing resilience and adherence to timelines.
3. Experience in managing external resources for efficient project completion.
4. Ability to grasp complex briefs, analyze extensive information, and make evidence-based decisions swiftly.
5. Strong communication, networking, and influencing skills.
6. Possession of a valid full driving license.
7. Risk management expertise.
8. Proficiency in drafting documents for publication.
9. Project management experience.
10. Familiarity with EU regulations.
