A well-established accountancy practice in Kerry is seeking a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CPA) with strong practice experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.
This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting junior staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review year-end financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Manage tax compliance including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, VAT, and PAYE
Liaise directly with clients to provide advice and resolve queries
Oversee bookkeeping and payroll work prepared by junior team members
Prepare management accounts and financial reports as required
Ensure compliance with Revenue, CRO, and regulatory deadlines
Support the implementation of cloud accounting systems where applicable
Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CPA)
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice
