Dublin, Ireland Aer Rianta International Full time

Working closely with the Digital Web Designer, the junior web designer will be responsible for creating digital pages that will help to increase engagement with all online platforms.

Responsibilities

- Designing online features, emails, social and digital site assets
- Generating ideas and keeping on top of key trends across design, retail and category focus within the digital landscape
- Working as part of the digital design team, as well as collaborating with other departments
- Supporting the more senior members of the design team through day-to-day business challenges
- Manage relationships and communication with both colleagues and clients
- Liaise with our SEO, Social, Content, CRO, Creative and internal teams as and when needed for relevant development work
- Implementing and maintaining high quality SEO policies and incorporating them with web content
- Taking a key role in the design and layout of a website
- Creating visuals using the creative suite for visual layout of web pages and converting designs into HTML and CSS
- Working with other teams to meet company-wide targets
- Using web content management systems
- Production of detailed design reporting to various stakeholders
- Responding to reports of technical problems and working with the team to fix them quickly

Qualifications

Experience

- 12 months junior digital designer experience or similar industry experience.

Skills

- Exceptional communication skills, with amazing attention to detail
- The ability to interpret our unique tone of voice
- A good understanding of brands and how they communicate their values
- An awareness of general marketing trends and competitor activity
- Typographic flair
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
- Solutions focused with an organised nature, with a sensible approach to tight deadlines
- Innovative ideas to share that will help us to learn and grow
- Strong planning, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Adequate knowledge of relational web application development

Education & Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree in web design, computer science, visual communication, information technology or a similar field.

Mandatory Practicing/Training/Compliance Certification

- Top notch knowledge of Creative Suite and is up to speed with the latest ‘tech’
- HTML and CSS Coding crucial
