A leading Irish food company with an established reputation for quality and innovation is seeking an experienced New Product Development (NPD) Manager to drive product innovation across its key categories. You’ll lead a small team of technologists, manage projects from concept to launch, and work closely with commercial and operations teams to bring new ideas to life.
As NPD Manager , you’ll shape and deliver the company’s product development strategy. You’ll oversee multiple projects, developing solutions that balance creativity and commercial impact. This position will suit a technically strong and commercially aware NPD professional who enjoys leading projects from concept to full‑scale production.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full NPD process from concept to launch.
Manage and mentor a small team of food technologists.
Oversee product trials and factory scale‑ups.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to deliver on briefs.
Monitor market trends and consumer insights to guide innovation.
Candidate Profile
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology , or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an NPD role within the food manufacturing sector.
Strong technical knowledge of food processes.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Commercial mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally.
Experience managing a small team.
Strong network within the Irish and UK food industry.
