Kerry GAA, in association with Red Chair Recruitment, are presently recruiting for a Commercial Director. You will create and implement a commercial strategy that focuses on new fundraising models, including grant applications as well as identifying, developing and implementing new commercial opportunities to generate substantial revenue growth. Working alongside the Kerry Co. Board Executive, you will also be responsible for asset management and new developments at Kerry Centre of Excellence (COE) and other new developments across the county to ensure best outcome for Kerry GAA.

Responsibilities

- Create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities generating income for Kerry GAA
- Develop new business services and events delivering new revenue generation.
- Onboard new sponsors and partners that will help drive revenue and create further added value.
- Identify opportunities to expand the COE Campus through partnerships and new markets.
- Identify various grants available within the GAA and research external grant funding opportunities.
- Work with a third-party communications and content agency to build and maintain a fan/media hub as an independent revenue stream
- Manage relationships (new and existing) as directed by the Commercial Committee.
- Work with relevant Sub-Committees within Kerry GAA.
- Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for Co. Secretary.
- Manage and oversee asset development in the Centre of Excellence in liaison with relevant Co. Board Sub-Committees.
- Degree holder with extensive experience in sales, finance, fundraising, business management or asset investment.
- Strong collaborative leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge and interest in Gaelic Games.

The position is for a fixed term contract of 3 years. Package includes a base salary, performance related commission, pension, company car, and paid expenses and flexible working options.
