Senior Electrical Engineer - Substations (Ireland)

We are seeking a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Engineering team in Ireland. The successful candidate will have a focus on large-scale grid infrastructure, grid connections, and private networks.

The role will involve working on HV projects, including primary plant layouts for substations, equipment specifications, and providing engineering design input to major infrastructure projects. Additionally, the candidate will work as an Owners' Engineer on HV substation/Cable and OHL projects, and provide professional services to clients in Ireland/UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for HV substations
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise on HV projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex engineering projects
  • Develop and maintain technical reports and documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HV engineering, preferably in a consultancy environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including HV transmission and distribution
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
