Job Description

U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services is one of the largest providers of corporate trust services in the world. Our clients look to us for trustee, agency, escrow, document custody, and money market issuing services via our 48 domestic offices and three international offices. We are currently hiring for a 12-Month Fixed Contract CLO Analyst role in our CLO business and the CLO Analytics team.

The team is highly client-facing, and the CLO Analyst role is dynamic, fast-paced, and offers a good mix of analytical and calculation-based activities, along with engaging with clients, investor queries, rating agencies, and internal teams to ensure high client service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop value-added partnerships with Relationship Management and Deal Administration to assist in client deliverables and improve processes and techniques for efficiency and delivery.

- Manage ongoing transaction deliverables including Waterfalls, Investor Reports, and Hypothetical test trades.

- Calculate various portfolio statistics, ratios, and thresholds for hypothetical trading scenarios and periodic reporting.

- Read and interpret trust indentures regarding reporting requirements and create technical report specifications from indenture language.

- Set up payment calculations in various in-house systems.

- Receive, map, and reconcile periodic collateral data.

- Liaise with business partners (Technology, Legal, Compliance, Trustee, Relationship Management, Deal Admin, and Sales) to ensure high client service levels in compliance with U.S. Bank standards.

- Provide innovative client solutions.

- Use SQL and other software to manipulate collateral-related data in the U.S. Bank database.

Experience and Key Skills Required:

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

- 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with direct experience working with CLOs; alternatively, knowledge of syndicated bank loans, fixed income securities, securitization, or debt capital markets.

- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Experience with Financial Models, including advanced Excel skills, is advantageous.

- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and interpret data.

- Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.

- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

- Ability to build and maintain partnerships internally and externally with a client-centric approach.
